Considering that pretty much all of their best players deserted their team after the BCS snub and that the remaining players don’t give a ■■■■■ the only surprise is that Florida State scored 3 points.
It was clear from the beginning that Florida State is just running out the clock and is deliberately not even trying. 49 to 3 at this point and Georgia can pretty much run it up at will.
Do players show up for bowl games anymore?
If they are meaningful they do. 
The ACC was down this year. FSU’s performance against awful Louisville in the ACC Championship showed they didn’t belong in the playoffs. Tonight confirms it.
They may not have belonged in the playoffs.
But all their top players boycotted the game and they aren’t even trying.
Florida State may not have been playoff quality, but they were clearly better during the season than what tonight indicates.
You can’t judge a team that is missing literally all its best players.
Is this the team that cried because they didn’t make the playoffs? Something like this won’t happen again as I think they are expanding the playoffs.
