Church Homilies

Our Religion Forum isn’t much for discussion these days, so I thought we could offer reflections. Why not try summarizing some of the great sermons/homilies we hear in Church. I’ll go first, and am hoping you will contribute, too.

From today’s homily:

God never asks us to do too little. As Catholics, we believe we are receiving the actual body and blood of Christ, who poured out his love for us. Love was not a warm emotion for him, it was action. Let’s put our love into actions. Jesus did not do too little for us, and God never asks us to do too little, either.

Besides our Lord and Savior, Job was always my favorite guy in the Bible.

He is such a great example of someone living the circle of life, its ups and its downs.
