The US admin is keen to shift the attention to China to cover up for their own mishandling of the crisis. The polls are dropping so gotta rile up the base with a scapegoat.
Well, I applaud fewer chinese imports, but as we move into recession and come out of the medical crisis, people are going to be very strapped for cash when we finally can shop again.
Itâs going to be difficult.
And itâs further complicated by Trumpâs fumbling, and complicated relationship with Xi and Chinese lenders.
The main issue is going to be a renewed thirst for cheap goods in the midst of a recession.
@Happyhappyjoyjoy how does the UK general public think that bojo has handled the crisis? Will that play a part in determining what role Huawei plays going forward?
Of course any attempts to impose sanctions by the USA, directy or indirectly, against China would result in China demanding that all communications that Trump received over Covid 19 would of necessity be made public.
Heâs polling at an all time high, itâs staggering.
The PM forced through the inclusion of Huawei in January, against the wishes of many in his party. I have yet to see any indication he is now of a different opinion.
Its a sad visual to see this administration touting âOnly 50K to die? Thatâs excellent.â to âOnly 70K to die? Still excellent!â to âOnly 90K to die, still excellent!â
I wish that with this prediction increase would force governors and this administration to evaluate why thereâs the predictive increase and try and figure out the best scenario to reduce that number.
One would think that 1 death from this is 1 too many.
But, human death is okay if people can go get their nails done or sit at the bar to enjoy a hamburger.
