Mebbe if Trump hadn’t reversed Obama’s opening to Cuba we’d have better relations with Cuba right now. Maybe those relations would even be good enough to enable us to convince Cuba to rebuff China.
These are the wages of perpetual, pointless, and punitive sanctions pushed for largely by the Right.

Nothing we can do or should do. Cuba is perfectly within its right as a Soverign nation to work with China.
