I thought I replied to this one, so now the nincompoops that are in charge in the Chicagoland are going to blame gorbal warming?

They may not be wrong. Violent crime does tend to go up during heatwaves. Chicago is already a cesspool of violent crime but this was a spike beyond what is normal for them.
