Legislation intended to interfere in business.
Yes and lobby accordingly. They use party philosophy to pick who they are going to lobby. Entrenched.
Thatâs right. It is the dem partyâs philosophy to be bad for business. Dems create toxic environments for business. Choking environments. Absurdities.
And theyâre proud of it.
Republicans also support regulation and its overuse. The propaganda is strong. Lobbyists see that and act accordingly.
Thatâs a nice bumper sticker. Meanwhile the aca created a boon for the insurance industry.
True. Republicans are marginally better than dems. They both suck.
In my opinion, the lib wing of the dem party is so toxic to business that it is justification in and of itself for keeping them out of power ever again.
They will use party to their own benefit.
They could care less about it.
No there isnât and I would if it could be shown.
Of course my point went WHOOOSH right over your head, as usual.
Oh it was plenty simple. I thought I pointed that out. Also Hobby Lobby and Chick-Fil-A say hi. I noticed a distinct lack of outrage on both businesses getting political there. Weird.
You think it did.
You fail to give individual liberty its proper due.
Thatâs a good point but itâs below the radar.
He has every right, that isnât the issue. He has to decide if it was good for business and the bottom line or if the expense was worth it?
If I remember, in these cases the issue was closing on Sunday due to it being the Sabbath. It was practicing their core beliefs. Many chose to make it political, the companies didnât and it backfired on those that did.
Yeah, that was the only thing that was newsworthyâŚ
Perhaps you only follow news on businesses with left leaning owners? I wonder why.
You have them know. One a employee put up a sign. No where can you show that was a company policy. The other was to use their influence to right racial wrongs by being responsible capitalists. My bet you didnât even read past the headline on the second one.
âI recognize that someone like me cannot fully appreciate and understand the gross injustices that are all around us,â Cathy wrote on LinkedIn. âI also recognize that talking about the systemic inequality, bias, and injustices in our country will draw criticism. But neither of these reasons makes it ok for me to remain silent about the issues that now so publicly confront our nation. The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and many others is horrifying and merits our outrage.â
Cathy is saying heâll pay the price for his stance because of his outrage over the injustice. What he didnât do was back BLM. Itâs his right and choice to do what heâs doing, knowing the price he may pay for his stance?
So one gets a pass while the other shouldnât be getting into politics. Nope, didnât call that one.
What dragged Hobby Lobby into politics in the first place?
