The video describes different types of Communism. A lot of people my age, who are for the Communist agenda, state in rebuttal to Capitalist arguments that, “it didn’t work because it wasn’t done right.” People were taken by a storm with Bernie Sanders in 2016.
Eurocommunism in the video is described as a type of communism that rejects Marxist methods and instead advocates for more democratic measures of obtaining communism.
I have to admit I never understood why the left was advocating for communism, especially since it envolves the abolition of status and individualism.
But maybe I now do understand. Does Eurocommunism (what has happened in France and other areas of the EU) describe your ideal vision of the U.S?
i am liberal and a capitalist union worker. my company makes a large profit due to my labors. they pay me well. and i am on my way right now to help the company remain profitable.
You would be right. But considering what we are dealing with in the democrat party liberalism has been thrown out. They are nothing more than bolsheviks.
The only morons who believe in “communism” are social rejects with no real friends, no sex life, and no notable physical prowess (except for their tendency to slap females). They’re just losers who can’t find their internal fortitude long enough to actually compete, but they somehow have all the answers to a perfect society (one they’ve never even contributed to).
Actual human beings with a brain know that we work for what we choose to consume.
If they want to think they’re radical for pushing common sense policy that is time tested and effective like the regulatory state, who am I to dampen the legendary enthusiasm of pinkos?
It’s also pretty obvious from the fact that they mostly hate Marxist-Leninists and publicly deride them as tankies.
An underrated Biden move is that he saw that Gen Z had voted in 2018 higher than 18-24s had in a midterm in decades, so he gave them political concessions: student loan forgiveness, that kind of thing.
And when they turned out in record numbers for him in 2020, he actually did most of what he promised. Student loans, climate change bill, pardons for all federal possession. And by 2021 the kids have figured it out too and stop the red tide with a big turnout. Weed gets dropped to schedule 3, limit overdraft charges, credit card late fees.
They’re the first generation of young voters to realize en masse that if you turn out for politicians in elections, they reward you with patronage since, I dunno, the Sixties?
