Businesses defying stay at home orders/corporate greed/socialism

Of course I did.

Which creates an atmosphere for greatness…equal opportunity or equal outcomes?

If everybody always gets the same, regardless of efforts applied, the motivation then encourages those same to sink to the lowest survivable level.

The masks do not require filters.

You wear an N95 or similar mask with them, the face shields protect you from getting the virus transferred to your eyes via aerosol transmission.

Eventually, we’re gonna quit with the ■■■■■■■■ and you people are all gonna go back to work. :stuck_out_tongue:

Eventually we have to quit. Absolutely… or else a resulting depression would kill far more than the virus.

hobby lobby has gotten cease and desist orders in at least 3 states.

they should be put out of business. their top execs jailed. their property seized.

That damn Hobby Lobby.

Why do i suspect you are still upset that they stood up to Obama and won? :grinning:

I don’t understand why the government has not required all food handlers to wear masks? They’re breathing…which means that potentially, if they’re infected, they’re spreading the virus to all those they’re preparing food for?

No evidence of any food borne transmission to date. That said, I am not ordering take out, just in case.

I don’t know that it’s been studied but if the molecules from sneezing, coughing and ordinary breathing…spreads the virus, then logically a food handler’s breath is contaminating the food he/she is preparing. If nothing else, it’s on the plate or wrapper?

Those bastards, how dare they stay open so people can make masks and face shields for FR’s, and Medico’s!

I am thinking this one needs to end up in your respiratory system as so far they have no evidence of it being transmitted from food. You have one part of the process, sick person launching infected particles into the air, the other part is someone needs to get those contaminated particles into their own respiratory system.

Everything I’ve seen reported so far indicates there’s really not a risk without coughing or sneezing. It takes quite a bit of force to get sputum up out of the lungs.

i really dont care what you think of me.
I think this crisis is going to result in a MAJOR reset of the country. the unfettered capitalism that the right seems to love is going to be kicked to the curb. the younger generations have seen how ■■■■■■ up the american way of doing business has become and are going to put a stop to it.

Lol, sure they are. Not sure how the 27% of people that think we should be a socialist country intend to prevail in changing the constitution.

Some of us never stopped working.

I doubt anyone here truly stopped working either.

It’s a free country and businesses should be able to stay open if they want to and never in the history of the country have we had forced shut downs because of health risks, it’s an historic event and lets socialism get a foot in the door of the nation. More companies need to revolt and reopen IMO.

This BI article claims 19 employees over 13 States so they really must have had to look long and hard to find those few since in my town alone there are 4 Hobby Lobby’s so I would imagine there are a whole lot of Hobby Lobby’s across 13 states. And I bet the woman shopper who bought a tin wall hanging was probably a lib who offered “a hug” to the employee after telling them they should quit their job.

I checked all four Hobby Lobby’s in my city and they are still closed, dang it! :slightly_frowning_face:
