Companies have continued to cut jobs in 2024 after a wave of layoffs last year. Amazon, IBM, Google, UPS and Tesla are among those shedding staff.
A slew of companies across the tech, media, finance, and retail industries made significant cuts to staff in 2023. Tech titans like IBM, Google, Microsoft, finance giants like Goldman Sachs, and manufacturers like Dow all announced layoffs.
Nearly 40% of business leaders surveyed by ResumeBuilder think layoffs are likely at their companies this year, and about half say their companies will implement a hiring freeze. ResumeBuilder talked to about 900 leaders at organizations with more than 10 employees.
Half of those surveyed cited concerns about a recession as a reason. . . .

To find out how many companies believe layoffs are likely next year, in December, ResumeBuilder.com surveyed 906 business leaders at organizations with over 10 employees.

Surprising that Business Insider is finally admitting that. They usually parrot DNC talking points. I’m sure that the millions of unskilled illegals the Democrats invited will make the economy better.

A total of 964 people across the political spectrum took the survey, including 103 respondents
with a self-reported Left bias; 182 with a Lean Left bias; 306 with a Center bias; 289 with a Lean
Right bias, and 84 with a Right bias.
