I would not be surprised if Biden, for the right price, manages to get Iran to stand down until after the 2024 election when, if re-elected as a middle-east peacemaker, he will have four more years to weaken the US and to be more flexible and appeasing towards the Persians.

Well he already agreed with Qatar to withdraw Iranian access to the money.
There are news items out there saying that Qatar has NOT agreed to this.
Lots of conflicting statements floating around, so it’s hard to know what’s really happening.
But yes, more of the reports say that the re-banning of the funds is in effect.
