I’m not minimizing his role in todays divisive atmosphere at all, he most certainly bears a great deal of responsibility for it. But, let’s not pretend this issue started with him. The very reason we have that clown now is in response to the divisiveness that’s been building over the years. We’re swamped with partisan chuckleheads that piss and moan everytime Trump says something stupid, but if you look back, these same dimwits are the ones cheering on the divisive rhetoric emanating from their benefactors. When that cackling buffoon Clinton thought it reasonable to deem a large chunk of the population as deplorable, it was those same clowns now emotionally victimized by Trump’s mean words that were defending her rhetoric…even claiming she was right. Go back further and you see the same empty ball sacks defending Obama’s bitter clinger presumption, only to later find themselves victimized by Romney’s 47 percent remark. And let’s not forget the abject idiocy displayed during the Bush administration, that ■■■■ was simply ridiculous.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m certainly not claiming anyone has clean hands in this. But continuing down this same path of claiming “yeah but, your guy is worse” isn’t going to lead anywhere better. And until people stop operating under the idea that “it’s ok for my guys to say stupid ■■■■ cause the other guys say stupid ■■■■■ we are going to be stuck with this stupid ■■■■ in a race to the bottom.

This has the potential to be a good post. But the fact you mislead with the false narratives around what was really said and meant by people like Clinton and her deplorable comment, or Obama and his comments about guns and religion, really detracts from the overall point. @BlackWolf didn’t have to create a false narrative when describing Trump’s comments, so why did you feel the need to in making your point?
