One of the Newhart tv series was one continuous dream.
Newheart wakes up in bed on the last show of the series to realize it was just a dream during another one of a previous different tv series under a different name.
One of my all-time favorite comedians. He proved you don’t have to be profane to get a laugh.
The master of understatement; he made it look so easy

He was certainly good at it. I want to say i read where he once was a numbers guy. Like an accountant or something. But i started watching him on newhart. His comedic timing was top notch.
