“Question the science” is the only way science has ever been done.

Carp are fun to catch (they fight like crazy on the line) but they are hard to clean (very bony fish)
I see food for many mammals there.

I eat the catfish I catch in the lake (if they are big enough), but not the ones I catch in the river (lots of chemical plants along the Ohio)
still have to remove the mud strip… I usually just throw them back…
Cats have a strong taste anyway, if I want a bland fish, I’ll buy cod

So long as you know the bad taste is from geosmin
which is basicallyalgae etc and not caused by chemical pollution)
