Sure, Texas was part of Mexico for a short time. The East Coast states were part of the British Empire for a longer time. You don’t see English people demanding a right to come here as if though they owned the place.
Anyone here (as some of my ancestors were) before the Texas revolution were Mexicans. Any Mexicans staying here after the Texas revolution were Texans and then US citizens. People from the other Mexican states had neither more nor less right to come here than people from England.

I think helping people escape oppressive dictatorships is a good, American thing to do.
The people in the OP are here legally, escaping dictatorships like Venezuela and Cuba.

I contract out for most everything in my retirement. I don’t pay attention to the ethnicity, race or country of origin. I simply don’t care as long as the job is done to my satisfaction.
