Biden's Bay of Pigs or just Russia being friendly?

the Russian navy is having friendly exercises off the coast of Cuba

I’m sure the “new and improved” American navy has nothing to worry about

How many tugs were used to get Putin’s navy across the Atlantic?

As Blinken says, national sovereignty means that nations are free to form military arrangements with whomever they want.

The security concerns of powerful neighbors are irrelevant.

If I were anywhere near the Havana harbor area I’d hop in the nearest ‘56 Chevy and haul ass as far away as possible while Putin’s tubs are around.
Sunken Soviet Sub leaking high levels of radiation, Norwegian researchers say - Bellona.org.

It is not just Soviet nuclear subs that are at the bottom of the sea.

Based on rhetoric from Washington, Cuba’s security would greatly improve if it joined a military alliance and hosted military bases that may include nuclear weapons supplied by an overseas power.

Then why were your Russian pals so upset about the possibility or Ukraine joining NATO???

  1. Send the Coast Guard
  2. State they wish to pass honors.
  3. Hoist the Ukraine flag while playing the Ukraine national anthem of Ukraine.
  4. Sail back to harbor.
  5. Publically ignore the Russian flotilla while keeping them under surveillance.

What was the Monroe Doctrine again…I forget?

I was referring to Blinken’s position.

I don’t agree with Blinken. Russian or Chinese bases in Cuba are a legitimate threat the security of the US, and NATO bases in Finland and Ukraine are likewise a legitimate threat to Russia.

The sooner we recognize reality, the sooner we can end the escalation towards WW3.

The Monroe doctrine basically tells the rest of the world:
“You can’t do that to Latin America; only we can do that to Latin America.”

One frigate and one submarine, with no air wing, does not a fleet make. And a US surface action group doesn’t need a supply ship and tug to tag along on it’s deployments. The submarines don’t need anything they don’t have on board for their deployments. This is the equivalent of a 5 man light infantry fire team walking past a combined arms mechanized brigade combat team.

Finland is NATO, and Vlad needs to find a mirror if he wants to know who caused that to happen.

If they pull the historical Russian navy shenanigans, they’ll bring a crocodile on board and try to have sex with it and share heroin.

For those who don’t know, when the Russian Navy stopped in Madagascar in 1905 to refuel before heading to Tsushima to get their asses kicked by the Japanese, a bunch of drunk sailors literally brought a crocodile on board one of the ships and was smoking opium with it and then tried to have sex with it. No joke it’s real history. It’s why we all laugh at the Russian Navy.

Too bad the Kuznetsov isn’t a part of their group. Cause that part of the world needs the 60 years of pollution that smoking hulk of junk provides.

Then they would need 3 more tugs and a second supply ship to tag along.

It’s the easiest ship to track in the world.

When it went on its deployment back in 2017 to Syria the British tracked it with a sub that just followed the enormous amount of fuel oil it was pouring out of every orifice into the water. And the air tracking was super easy cause the thing smokes worse than a 1992 Ford F-350 with a 7.3L.

Also is the sub in that picture an Oscar class? Oh God no. If it’s anything like the Kursk it’ll blow itself apart with a bad torpedo and someone will blame us for it.

Truth is the Russian navy is nothing but a 4th rate coastal force. The only exception to this is some of their nuclear submarines. What no one seems to be talking about is the opportunity the Russian Sub being there provides to our Navy to study it. There has to have been at least one of our attack subs shadowing it on its way to Cuba.
