There is no intended “settlement”. There is nothing to “settle”. It’s an outright plundering of our treasury cooked up by the ACLU and the Democrat Party Leadership.
What jury would ever consider giving a dime to a parent knowingly breaking our law and putting their child in such danger? The parents of each of these children should be the ones who are sued, or perhaps criminally prosecuted for child abuse.
