Biden doesn’t like how our Justice system works and wants to change the constitution to make it easier to jail political opponents. Are we sure the DNC wasn’t behind Trump being shot? Can Biden jail himself for breaking the law he accused Trump of?
Good luck to the lame duck Kid Sniffer on that one.
Yeah. Not going anywhere. I wonder if he would exempt himself in that immunity amendment? After all…aiding and abetting, illegal crossings…?
Or Obama killing innocent US citizens.
In fairness, the Kid Sniffer has dementia, so everyone around him is probably just, “Yes sir, you are the President! Very good, sir! More ice cream?”
Let him play pretend for a few more months. I’m more interested in who is actually running the Executive Branch right now.
Not a dictator - more like someone who really likes to waste time as this proposal is DOA.
A two-thirds majority of both the House and the Senate needs to pass any proposed amendment, which is then sent to the states for ratification. It must be approved by three-fourths — 38 — of the 50 states to become the supreme law of the land.
Asking for a constitutional amendment to be voted on is the exact opposite of tyranny and dictatorship…
He is literally wanting to make the presidency less powerful…
Biden is also likely to voice support for a constitutional amendment that would limit immunity for presidents and certain other officeholders after the court ruled in July that presidents cannot be prosecuted for “official acts” during their time in office. The court’s ruling stemmed from a case concerning former President Trump.
Trying to steal political seat after losing a free, fair, and open election however is…
That means I’ll continue to lower costs for hard-working families
The above quote from the article. What the hell does he mean continue? The senile old ■■■■■■ has done nothing but cause costs to rise over the last 4 years
I find it ironic…Trump is out there standing up for “Democracy” and free speech while libs like Biden is fighting to destroy it.

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States providing that there is no immunity from criminal prosecution for an act on the grounds that such act was within the constitutional authority or official duties of an individual, and providing that the President may not grant a pardon to himself or herself.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States:
“Article —
“ Section 1. No officer of the United States, including the President and the Vice President, or a Senator or Representative in Congress, shall be immune from criminal prosecution for any violation of otherwise valid Federal law, nor for any violation of State law unless the alleged criminal act was authorized by valid Federal law, on the sole ground that their alleged criminal act was within the conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority of their office or related to their official duties, except for Senators and Representatives acting pursuant to the first clause of the sixth section of the first article.
“ Section 2. The President shall have no power to grant a reprieve or pardon for offenses against the United States to himself or herself.
“ Section 3. This amendment is self-executing, and Congress shall have the power to enact legislation to facilitate the implementation of this amendment.”.
Obviously, this has no chance of getting the necessary two-thirds vote in both Houses of Congress or the three quarters of State ratifications, so we can stop with the histrionics and calm down.
I actually support a broader version of this, which would apply to the States as well as the Federal Government and which would include judicial officers.
Remember that in protecting Trump, the Supreme Court also granted protections to Biden, Harris and any future Democratic as well as future Republican Presidents.
Rex non potest peccare was fine for English King’s who enjoyed absolute power. It has no place in a Republic. NO ONE should be above the law, including the President.
To reiterate. We are a Republic, as so many here take great pains to point out. Rex non potest peccare has no place in a Republic.
It’s just a campaign publicity stunt from his interns. Progressives know they’d be on the losing end of any Constitutional Convention.
The reasoning is what makes it tyranny!
The reasoning…to make the presidency not immune and make sure that the office holder can and should be held to the same standard as normal citizen? That’s tyranny?
Dr Jill and Valerie Jarrett IMO.
Since this isn’t a monarchy, he can propose any stupid things a person with dementia would propose? He’s a dipwit. Those around him are using this dipwit for their corrupt, political purposes. This isn’t Biden pushing this, this is being pushed by the corrupt…inner…Democrat party…PERIOD!
The corrupt Democrats…trying to make sure no president is above the law using the Constitution process to ensure it. Yup…that definitely sounds corrupt
Uh, huh and the DoJ appointing a special counsel to prosecute their political opponents that was overturned by an honest judge as unConstitutional proves it in your world…amirite?
That is the system , let see what kind politicized DOJ action occured:
Corrupt Dem senator - convicted
President son - convicted
Former vice president who ran for GOP nomination - no action
Yup … proves it pretty well
Thats some pure B.S. the left has been shot down trying to imprison their opposition. There are no new presidential powers.
The supreme court granted nothing. The President has always been immune from prosecution for carrying out the duties of the office they hold. You cannot prosecute a person for using the authority the constitution and law grant them.
