Departments? Of what?

Like the DHS? FDA? FBI?

Alpha bank was a hoax perpetrated by people in our govt. Now the left wants them to control truth?

No, no, no, no, no…it’s…disinformation.

No. They won’t be “controlling truth”.

What makes you think that they won’t try?

Well the head of the NSA testified to Congress he spy on American citizens. Oh…wait…

In 2013 when you were asked about it, you said ‘no,'” McCain said. “So that is a lie.”

“I made a mistake,” Clapper said. “I didn’t lie. I was thinking about something else, another program.”

.“.I merely found these drugs and was on my way to the police station to turn them in”…:sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:

With the usual caveat that this thing doesn’t even have a charter yet: the article previously posted indicates that it is going to integrate info from the various agencies under DHS; all of whom already have PR shops.

So, at this time, there is no reason to think it will be much different.

Alright then, if your default is that government always lies, what is the problem? A lie from an individual department, or a lie from the disinfo board is still a lie.

Open your eyes oh naive one…the lying is rampant and prevalent all around you.

Okay, so lies from individual departments or lies from the board. What’s the difference?

You’re wrong on this one.

Actually, if the history of government assuming new powers is any guide, there is no reason to believe that they won’t abuse this power if they get it.

I doubt it.

But there isn’t an assumption of new power. It is a consolidation of the messaging various departments.

Usual caveat applies.

Don’t be naïve. The “consolidation” is the further entrenchment and strengthening of power.

The power and strengthening of the PR shops?

Please.

Standard caveat applies

The caveat being that you are probably wrong.

No, the caveat being there isn’t a charter yet, which means you and I have the same information, and I may reevaluate my position once more info is available.

So … Two caveats.

Nope, one caveat.

The second caveat can be yours
