Biden makes it official with a "Disinformation Governance Board"

Unlike Snopes…federal government has the power to do something about it.

Yes it is, when the government directs others to censor they become defacto government actors.

This thing runs afoul of the first amendment by its existence.

You guys are comically stupid.

Google facebook and Twitter kill stories like Hunters laptop … “they are private companies if you dont line it start your own…”

Now the government wants to create an agency to do the same thing “its persecution porn”…

This agency is a violation of the first amendment by its very existence.

Nonsense. When the press secretary pushes back against something in a press conference, is that a violation of the first? Of course not.

Biden has already proven whether something is constitutional or nor really doesn’t matter to him. Remember the eviction ban?

“Indeed, Biden himself admitted he wasn’t sure the move was constitutional but supported it anyway because it bought more time for renters: “The bulk of the constitutional scholars say it’s not likely to pass constitutional muster,” he confessed. So why go forward with it, in violation of his oath to uphold the Constitution?” Biden’s eviction ban is a snub to the Constitution — and his oath of office

Who cares about the press Secretary…peppermint patty has every right to speak. Hell when trump called cnn fake news you people where screeching about his speech…how about just a little consistency just once.

“ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

This disinformation board is clearly unconstitutional and is being administered by a person who has already herself offered “disinformation” targeting conservatives.

You have no case here. This thing needs to die.

I once again encourage freedom loving people to contact their representatives and share their opinions on this issue. Imho liberals are and this board is a significant threat to our free speech.

Bye bye then.

Why always with the name calling. You’d be a much more interesting poster if you didn’t resort to playground theatrics.

Nonsense. It doesn’t even exist yet, you have no basis to make this charge.

Yet here you are speaking freely. Weird.

The second time you have said you were done with me. And here you are again. Also weird.

Anyone remember this?

Hmm, the US gov’t seems to find disinformation without creating a special office to do so.

Do it again after the mid terms.

This board just formalizes the process of finding speech this admin doesn’t like and ordering their big tech allie’s to censor.

As Tulsi called it**. The Propaganda Board**.

Right because when the Dems are in the Whitehouse they will have a government-funded propaganda arm to shout down the right, (It’s not “censorship if you don’t actually put people in jail.”

When the GOP is in the whitehouse, they will have a government-funded propaganda arm to shout down anyone who opposes wars, patriot acts, or lack of body armor for US military personnel etc… (Again, it’s not “censorship” because censorship means putting people in jail and nothing else)

How could any freedom-loving person support this monstrosity?
What did George Orwell’s “Ministry of Truth” do again? Did it spout propaganda?

Umm this admin seems fairly gung ho on war itself

The Dems have the bulk of the media to shout down the right anyway.

Now they want to take it to a new level and install a government propaganda board.

Who knows where it goes from there.

We already know where it goes, more of the same, this admin flagging people and posts for social media to ban and financial companies to blacklist. That’s why Myorkas said the board would just be doing what they already had been doing to “combat disinformation”.

Maybe even further than that if the rads get their way.

Damn…another victim. Poor, poor cons…If only cons had their own media, blogs, think tanks…and maybe use radio as a way to get their message out.

How many liberal political forums do you engage with?

Not for lack of trying, always get banned.
