I expect more consistent messaging from Biden than Trump. I also anticipate a federalized response for the duration of the pandemic, with nationalized testing and contact tracing, lifting the burden off the states. I also expect him to enact the DPA not just for ventilators but testing supplies and all forms of PPE, all made in America.
I expect that the CDC will take stage front and center and coordinate all aspects of the pandemic response with state and local health officials.
I expect that vaccine manufacturing will be ramped up and even subject to the DPA, have not just Pfizer and Moderna make this stuff, farm it out to anyone that can make it so the supplies are ample.
I expect daily briefings from the CDC. Biden may or may not participate depending on what needs to be said, he doesn’t need the spotlight like Trump did.
I expect every state government to be briefed and encouraged to follow best practices.
I expect a wave of help for schools and businesses to make their places safe for students, workers and customers.
And it will happen.
By the time the massive federal bureaucracy could even begin to implement these things, the vaccine will have been distributed to the extent that these things will be moot. Two vaccines will be released by years end and the military is already running live drills on distribution and decisions are already being made as to where they go first.
Any other vaccines that come out after Thief in Chief takes office will immediately be stalled because of the red tape that has existed for decades.
Just out of curiosity, what currently isn’t safe in schools and businesses? Every last business I’ve patronized since April has mask and social distancing requirements posted right on their front door, and very darn few people even try to ignore the requirement. What exactly do you think Biden the Magnificent is going to do to make businesses more safe? I haven’t heard one single solitary person complain that they can’t get a mask. Masks are for sale EVERYWHERE. Paper masks, cloth masks, designer masks.
What new “briefings and encouragements and best practices” do you expect Governors to receive? What new information is is the Senile kid sniffer going to impart? So far 50 out of 50 governors and every last Mayor, city and county official has gotten and implemented the mask and social distancing message.
Nationalized testing? Is there going to be Federal law passed that every citizen will have to travel to DC for this testing or will federal officials be taking over the testing sites that already exist? How is this to be done and who is to do it? How will it be better than the local testing that is already being done in communities all over now?
How about some thoughtful answers and not just regurgitated untrue rhetoric that the left has used to smear Trump with for months?
I trust Biden with distributing the vaccines more than Trump.
Only 37 states have mask mandates, not 50.
Schools need better ventilation systems and shielding for teachers, same with businesses.
So for all the things you listed that Bidens “National response” team was going to do in dealing with Covid, the things that would be SO SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY over what Trump has done, actually amounts to DIDDLY SQUAT! Because senile Joe’s handlers knew that saying important things that are actually meaningless and can’t be in any way quantified or withstand scrutiny, is all it takes to gain the votes of their sheep.
Relax, things are going to be fine. We have good people coming to help, we just need to ride out this administration, who has checked out.
