Yes that’s called a big fail on infrastructure. He talked it a lot, but it was never more than his mouth moving and air coming out accompanied by oinking sounds.
Biden on the other hand, helluva infrastructure bill. Even McConnell is showing up with him at bridge building events. It’s a big ■■■■■■■ deal.
That’s because he wanted to do it all with public/private partnerships, emphasis on private. It was nothing but a scam to funnel public money into private pockets. Pelosi made the right call.
If it was that bad, why do Republicans keep showing up at events to initiate or mark the completion of projects? Across the US, Republican pols are claiming credit for projects they voted against.
Or you remember the inflationary period in the seventies.
Or the Great Depression.
Its the height of arrogance to believe that Joe Biden went out of his way to give you THE WORST economy ever.
I will grant you that it probably is the worst economy ever with 3% unemployment.
On the other hand, the last administration used to brag about achieving the lowest level of unemployment among African-Ameicans ever as a marker of how well things are going. Since unemployment among African-Americans has now moved well beyond what the previous administration achieved, you should recognize that as positive news.
Clinton signed the Teclo act of 1996, cut welfare, and signed the bill that was a huge factor in the financial meltdown of 2008. Bush continued the fiasco, and also decided to spend trillions on an unnecessary war.
Your only problem is his infrastructure bill builds very little infrastructure. Big failure on jbidens part. But he did pay back his campaign financers so maybe they will send him a little more in 2024.
Only if consider 2800 bridge repair and replacement projects to be “very little” and if you don’t consider high speed internet, water and sewer systems and vehicle charging networks are not infrastructure.
Another way to consider how much is being done is to contrast it with what happened in the four previous years.
