Isn’t it more appropriate to say that by and large there’s no one in the Democrat Party that is philosophically any different from Biden? Outside of Manchin there’s really little philosophical difference between any Democrat.
AOC and other progressives in that camp are to the left; not sure who else would remain on the right, you may be right about Manchin - don’t really know who would be the spoils in the House, when I see someone like Elissa Slotkin she sounds more or less sane, but I’d have to research more on specific votes and positions of hers.
Policy aside though, someone like Newsome would present a fresher face and a bit sharper of a mind as far as being able to communicate.
I thought a second term of Obama was going to destroy the country? Yet here we are.
What next is this election going to be yet another most important election of our lifetime?

How many millions of Americans now rely on some sort of welfare check from the government? All that matters to them is that welfare check keeps on a coming! Those folks have plenty of TV to watch!

Actually both sides use those same cliches:
- I thought nobody would be worse than (insert some past president) but this guy is the worst
- Another term of this guy and country/world will be over
- Most important election of our lifetime

Let’s see:
There are disabled people on welfare, including veteran with service related disabilities
There are minor children and their caregivers
There are people collecting temporary welfare (do you count that as welfare)
There are all the subsidized farmers
There is the cost-inflated defense industry
There are reitrees getting money back from Social Security
Who do you kick off first. Who is the enemy?
