Now the hard work begins they have to prove with hard evidence that Biden was directly involved and knowingly directly benefitted.
Hopefully the Republicans rely on something more substantial than YouTubers and tweets.
If Biden has committed a crime I want it uncovered but I want to see evidence and not just sound bites and conjecture.
This could all still spectacularly backfire on the Republicans especially those who have slim majorities. For nearly 8 years we have impeachment throwing around through two administrations like never before. It no longer has the impact with the public that it once did.
I do think regrettably we have entered an era where every subsequent President will have impeachment proceedings started against them by the opposition no matter what.
It doesn’t have too. You just create clouds and questions and fatigue; you don’t even need to persuade people, just make enough of them indifferent. Who can say? Everyone is equally terrible. Courts, judges, fact-checkers, anyone with standards other than “makes a good clip on Fox” just gets in the way (see: 2020 election).
The believers don’t need evidence to be certain; inversely, many of the non-believers don’t need certainty to affect their attitudes and behaviors. So the GOP can muddy things up enough.
So as a country we are ■■■■■■ politically. Sad state of affairs but we the people allowed this to happen.
I have got to the point where I would not cry if everyone of the ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ who are the so called representatives of the people suddenly vanished never to be seen again.
