Thems the breaks.

If only Trump were still President, Bannon would be fine.

I understand it’s only acceptable for libs to lie.

Well, no. You definitely don’t.

But it’s ok.

You’re in no position to educate me.

I expect that it’s more than you’re in no position to learn.

But again, it’s ok. I’ve known all of this for a while.

Martyring someone who has directly stolen from Trump supporters and leads the charge to end the Republic. Okey doke.

In case people forgot…this Bannon…

"As a top adviser to Trump’s presidential campaign who later served as White House chief strategist, Bannon helped articulate the “America First” right-wing populism and fierce opposition to immigration that have been hallmarks of Trump’s 3-1/2 years in office. Trump fired Bannon from his White House post in August 2017.

Bannon, 66, was among four people arrested and charged by federal prosecutors in Manhattan with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. They each face up to 40 years in prison if convicted, but would likely get much shorter sentences.

Prosecutors accused the defendants of defrauding hundreds of thousands of donors through a $25 million crowdfunding campaign called “We Build the Wall.” Bannon used hundreds of thousands of dollars of that money to cover personal expenses, according to the charges.

Build The Wall! (Not really- pay for Bannon’s yacht trips.)

it’s one of their tribe, so all good.

Even if he literally conned them out of money. Like out of a bad novel.

And Kavanaugh

I predict no real penalty for Bannon either.

What did Kavanaugh lie about?

Once in 2006 regarding his role in the Starr investigation.

Again in 2019 (in my opinion) claiming Devils Triangle was a drinking game.

I’m not familiar.

First google hit:
https://newrepublic.com/article/150749/brett-kavanaugh-lie-us-senate

The basic gist is that in 2006 he downplayed his role in the Starr investigation. Then the document dump of 2019 reveals he was deeply involved and pushing for using the semen dress to embarrass Clinton.

Nothing earth shattering. Typical lying stuff that we all tolerate as long as we like the outcome.

Devil’s Triangle thing also a lie In my opinion. He was defending his honor and it doesn’t make him guilty, but it is not and was not a drinking game. It has a known meaning and he was unwilling to admit it and concede a gotcha moment.

Same as these other fellows.

Edit: that link mentions other lies from his earlier nomination, not the Starr stuff. Either way, the record indicates he misled in his earlier nomination. Par for the course in our fake honorable politics. We depend on liars to get our way.
