Yeah sure. Iām sure he did a lot advising on that list Manafort put him on. He was so important he couldnāt get any job in the administration.
But lets pretend he regularly interfaced with Trump.
He probably didnāt get a job with the administration because Manafort was forced to quit the campaign after it was found out that he was eyeballs deep in Ukrainian Oligarchs.
I would suggest that for the significant positions in his administration or his campaign yes he gets the final say.
Even those hires he may not make himself, he is the man in charge who has ultimate responsibility and a good leader takes on that responsibility willingly.
Its interesting to see how conservatives definition of leadership has suffered since the Trump train came into town.
But then we also get the continual excuses - Trump was badly advised, there are deep state infiltrators in place, Trump is still learning the job etc etc etc - the excuses continue to pour out of his supporters.
Problem is - Trump ran a privately held company. Essentially, he was accountable to no board of directors. He could get away with having absolutely no business savvy, because he didnāt have to worry about the BOD ousting him. He owned the company.
We are seeing how that plays out in a position where he is being held accountable for perhaps the first time in his life.
