I know of at least 3 small business people who after years of running successful businesses lost their businesses while the newer upstart competitors, (criminals who ran criminal enterprises hiring illegals cheating the IRS cheating the healthcare system etc.) are still in business.
I have no doubt these honest American businessmen blame the criminals posing as employers and would ask you to stop falling for that ruse. Criminals who hire criminals kill honest US businesses and kill jobs for American workers. They kill both. They are the criminal enemy of both.

an as a result displaces American jobs and puts honest American business people out of business?
The left wants to push this idea that there’s all these unlimited jobs here for EVERYONE who decides to show up at the border. And then like you said they COMPLETELY ignore all the other incentives that drive this migration, like free healthcare, free housing, free education, free meals, etc.
Outside of teachers and actors, there’s no (or little) unionization in the so-called white collar labor force. There’s obviously reasons for that and it’s hard to imagine that would change.
That’s what I’m trying to explain. They are already laws that they are exploiting. Each company (Supposed) to get so many H1B visas they supposed to only use them if they can’t find an American that can do the job, or if they have a big enough job not enough Americans and they need more people.
I have sat in these interviews. I have interviewed the people to do the job giving them technical IT questions and not one time did I not find someone who could fill the position and only two times out of probably 40+ interviews did they hire the American.
They have like three outsourcing in sourcing-out sourcing companies that are in shop. That means they are in the office on my floor. If there is a big project coming up they’ll say something for example we need 10 full .net engineers. They don’t interview for these jobs. These people are already waiting to come over here from India. They are what we referred to as back benchers in the industry. They get paid while waiting. I’m not sure exactly why I don’t think it’s much. They don’t even interview the American the end shop IT manager makes the phone call issues the visas and a couple days later they arrive.
Point is when you hear a company say they need more H1B visas what they’re saying is we don’t want to hire Americans is what this translates to it’s already in the rules that they only supposed to get them if an American can’t do them or there’s not enough Americans to do them, but they all go around the process every single big company anyways. I would imagine the job loss in software engineering alone is in the hundreds of thousands to Americans I would not suggest any American to go to school for to do what I do anymore.
And like I said the laws are already in place. The first thing Biden did was rip up the executive order saying less H1B visas, these people know what’s going on and politicians bought off, etc… and why did Trump wait to his last week in office to pass that EO they’re all in on it.
I would imagine when it starts hitting other industries maybe it’ll get more attention. Let’s say if all teachers start getting replaced by Vietnamese who work for 1/4 of the price and 95% of all teachers are Vietnamese maybe then it’ll be taken more serious.
Why be afraid of competition?
If every one of your competitors hires illegals is that gonna put you outta business or something?

If there was a collection of workers that pooled their resources to make the corporation stand by the law and set standards for worker compensation so the companies can not undercut with cheaper labor…
i did it is pretty clear that among gov’t enterprises they don;t hire illegals because competition does not matter.
What does that mean for non-government employers.
If they follow the law, hiring only Americans. . . they do 100% okay? Or does competition affect them in some way?
It wouldn’t take a union to enforce how many H1B visas a company uses or is issued the USCIS can see every visa issued and could report them and they could be punished. They must all be in on it because nobody’s doing ■■■■ to stop it, if anything it’s getting worse.
