In case it matters, the US issues 65,000 H1-B visas per year and 18,000 CR! (marriage) visas per year. Even if we assume 100% of those persons become citizens (they do not) you are thinking of me as “uncaring” or whatever because I chose I refuse to let my thought be dominated by . . . Hereafter please know that when I say “US-born persons lost 1.2 million jobs and foreign-born person gained 1.3 million jobs” I do so because that the way BLS calculates and provides the numbers.
