Hamas is asking Pakistan to join their conflict because they believe that Israel would cower before a nuclear armed country. Hamas is making another error in judgement…
I await the usual suspects to arrive and explain how this is America’s fault.
Just the type of issue that could easily spiral out of Control. There are rabid Islamist elements within the Pakistani Government and Military.
What reward would Pakistan get in doing this? IMO…the risk doesn’t warrant it and I hope they’re smarter than that.
Just more media fear mongering. I get that is how they get clicks and views plus they have to come up with new angles of reporting an issue which as far as a 24 hour news cycle is not evolving much but Pakistan is not going to get involved.
Israel has a nuclear triad. Land based Jericho V IRBMs, Dolphin class submarines carrying Popeye cruise missiles, and their F-15I can deploy nuclear dumb bombs.
Pakistan isn’t that stupid. Plus India would probably join the fray and royally ■■■■ Pakistan with its own nuclear arsenal.
you can tell us if you want.
Iran and its allies already have enough conventional weapons to destroy anything of military value in Israel. The concerns about nuclear weapons are more about preventing a nuclear retaliatory strike after Israel has already nuked most of the cities in the Middle East.

Pakistani nukes are a deterrent to India. They couldn’t give two hoots about Hamas or Israel.
But enough money, coupled with an emotional appeal for Islamist unity against the little Satan might pry one or two loose for clandestine export,
How would a nuclear bomb fired on Israel affect the Palestinians that HAMAS claims to care about? Do they care about Palestinians, or is it that they just hate Israel for being successful without following Mohammed, while islamic states are failures despite having followed Mohammed. Is the cognitive dissonance of claiming to be the best of people but being headed by some of the worst of leaders driving islamists crazy.
Israel desperately wants war with Iran and is working hard to drag in the US into a new front in the war.
As far as Pakistan, diplomatic cables show that the US effectively forced the removal of the popular Pakistani PM, Imran Khan, and has supported a politically motivated prosecution that has removed him from future elections for five years. For now, Pakistan is a vassal of Washington.
Of course, Secretary Blinken has praised Pakistan for defending “democracy” and “rule of law”. Expect more of the same in the US as the Biden administration orchestrates prosecutions of Trump and his supporters.
The killing of high-level Iranian officials in Syria is nothing new. But once again, it doesn’t surprise me that you would make such a leap. When it comes to Iran, Israel wants to prevent them from getting an atomic bomb. There would be nothing to gain and everything to lose from going to war with Iran.
Yes, the attack on the Iranian general in Syria is just a continuation of Israel’s long history of unprovoked attacks on Syria.
The continued presence of US occupation forces in Syria makes sense if the intent is to provide a pretext for a major war with Iran. Clearly protecting national sovereignty is not a US priority in Syria.
Only in your delusional view of the world.
Well, they aren’t “occupation forces”, but they probably are bait. But it’s Hanlon’s Razor.
There are multiple reasons why US troops remain in Syria. Trump ordered the withdrawal of remaining troops in Syria in 2018, but the Pentagon ignored the order and the troops still remain there. Clearly keeping the troops there was a top priority for the permanent state.

The official pretext is “fighting ISIS”, but US forces spend the vast majority of their time guarding Syrian oil fields and fighting groups allied with the Syrian government. Trump claimed that the only reason for the troops was to take Syrian oil, and that may well be a prime factor.
Exactly who profits from the sale of Syrian oil is rarely discussed, just like who profited from the sale of Afghan opium. My guess is that a good portion of the money goes into funding dark projects that are outside of any real oversight from Congress or the President.
