Andrew McCabe: 25th Amendment was discussed by Justice Department to remove Trump from office

Judging by our respective posts, that has to be it. My emotion and hatred.

Yes, he did.

Don’t know who started it, but I’m sure the rest of the herd pretty much glommed on.

Sedition! Hilarious. So emotional it seems.

Jezcoe didn’t call you stupid. Take emotion out of this man. It’s not worthy of such investments.

How is this determined? Answer: by the people who invoke the 25th and Congress.

Not if the head of state is himself harmful to the country. That was, and remains, a valid concern.

Any use of the 25th or impeachment is “changing the outcome of an election”. The claim either could be sedition is absurd.

Sedition agsinst whom?

I find this post and the attendant anger strangely hilarious coming from you.

In your opinion…should the Radical Republicans who spearheaded the impeachment of Andrew Johnson been charged with sedition?

Their articles of impeachment were a rambling number of vague charges and one specific one…that he had violated the Tenure of Office Act by firing Edwin Stanton as Secretary of War. And that charge was utterly false…Stanton had served beyond the year and a day of his appointment by Abraham Lincoln.

So they made up a bunch of false charges and used their constitutional powers soley to remove a President they didn’t like. Even worse…unlike in the present case, Johnson wouldn’t have been replaced by another person the Radicals didn’t like. He would have been replaced by Ben Wade…who was himself a Radical Republican!

Have you always been on record these Congressmen that led the charge were seditious?

They did FAR more than McCabe and Rosenstein did.

Impeachment would also change the outcome of an election too.

They would have us believe that anyone who talks about impeachment is guilty of sedition.

Of course, but what Sneaky seems to be misinformed about is that sedition requires “force”. A constitutional political process does not amount to force. It cannot be sedition.

Oh wait, I just caught up. He simply ignored the “by force” part. He doesn’t realize that those list of items preceding “by force” are all under the requirement of “by force.” So it’s a lack of understanding of grammar.

It’s a lack of understanding enabled by a deep seated hatred of any government authority.

Destroy by force. “Or”. Have a nice day.

Plotting is the sedition. The 25th was just the tool.

This concerns you how? Are you now the designated spokesman for the left?

Trump is the head of state.

It’s their job for the safety of the country to look into matters that affect its security. That’s what they did. This overblown meme is complete and utter nonsense.

That’s what you said before. You believe that clause stands alone.
It doesn’t but I’ll have a nice day anyway, thanks.

None of that is true.
