And Alex Jones finds out that Bankruptcy Court is NOT a get out of paying a judgement free card

Sorry Jones, you can’t use bankruptcy to escape the consequences of shooting off your big mouth.

The bankruptcy code prevents judgements from actions that were willful and malicious from being discharged in bankruptcy.

So Jones remains on the hook for virtually all of the main judgements, though some attorney’s fees may or may not be reduced or discharged.

One of the victims that he owes money to is fighting cancer.

She hasn’t seen a penny from him while he goes on expensive vacations and does what he can to squirrel away his money.

Alex Jones is a sociopath.

Another case of the left using the courts to stop free speech. Very sad!

Oh for the love of.

Vile lies are no more protected by the First Amendment than shouting fire in a theater is.

You never saw Hannity or Limbaugh shut down.

Because whatever they said, they never crossed the line that Alex Jones crossed.

Alex Jones willfully and maliciously lied about the parents and he is paying the price.

This is not about free speech. This is about malicious lying.

Alex Jones is HARDLY a peasant.

Not with a supplement and radio empire.

From the article:

But Jones’ personal spending topped $93,000 in July alone, including thousands of dollars on meals and entertainment, according to his monthly financial reports in the bankruptcy case. The spending stuck a nerve with Sandy Hook families as they have yet to collect any of the money that juries awarded them.

This is the kind of behavior that will motivate folks to go after him.

You are actually sticking up for that slob Alex Jones?

The Myth rears its ugly head yet again.

The Constitution was written for slobs like that.

Then why didn’t he appeal his verdict to the SCOTUS instead of all his silly bankruptcy ■■■■■■■■ ? SCOTUS would have definitely known this was a first amendment issue.

What does that have to do with what I said?

Seriously? OK. I will try again.

If it was an actual first amendment issue, he would have appealed to the SCOTUS and had his verdict overturned, rather than hiding all his assets and trying to declare bankruptcy. They have him fair and square.

No. It is a simple fact that the Constitution was written for slobs-“nice” people don’t need it.

And it does violate the 1st Amendment, whether the SCOTUS agrees or not.

See Oliver Wendell Holmes “yelling fire in a crowded theater”. There are limitations. What possible other reason could he have for not appealing a billion dollar verdict?

The Myth-2.

Actually- here is the real reason, FAFO. In 4 different courtrooms.

Paywall. And I really want to read it.
