An Iconic Magazine Closes It's Doors

“woke” is not the opposite of “outwardly conservative”

I walked past not one, but two magazine stores today that are shuttered. Could they sell you candy, gum, breath mints, snacks? Yes. But their business was newspapers and magazines, both of which are digital now. News? Digital. Porn? digital. Cooking? Digital.

There’s no reason to have a newsstand or store any more. A sign of the times. Not saying it’s good, just true.

newsweek. time…

nah?

NAH!!! Cripes have you seen them lately? They’re basically blogs. No employees. “Contributers”

Why would anyone need SI monthly, when you can read sports info in the moment. And Time and Newsweek are GONE for good. So are my favorites, Gourmet, Food and Wine, and Bon Appetite. Know why?

Name a magazine that still exists in the delivered, print format. Go on.

HUH??

everyone knows what i mean it’s ok

You can try to make this political, but it’s a digital issue. Print is on the way out.

wrong. dig zines are flourishing.

What are dig zines, and name one.

already have. two biggies time and newsweek

people

Those are ■■■■■■■■■ Blogs, not news magazines.

try not to look so ill-informed

Time- not in print since 2012.

Why are you asking this as a personal /rightie issue? Print magazines are dying. SI is one. They’ll live on in digital.

Yet just like Bud Light …

That’s only half of it.

Go Woke; Go Broke.
