All Federal Grants and Loans Paused, Under Review

They don’t have the resources. If we don’t give them help. China will.

Or China.

My question as well.

You should have voted harder for Harris, then.

The nation voted Trump back into office (in part) to quell the funding cornucopia.

Now the Chinese can waste their money instead.

Perhaps they can make ebony condoms cheaper.

I think @Sknyluv feels he’s better than a China man.

And have tranny operas.

Keep up the good work! :+1:t3:

There is an interesting dynamic going on in this thread. The left arguing that American imperialism is good. And i agree

You keep up the bigoted work.

 Noticed that did you?

It’s not good when it’s at the expense of the US citizen and legal aliens.

Lol when you quote a lie in your thoughts, then we know not to take them seriously…

It’s always at the expense of us citizens. Has always been. The government doesn’t have its own money to spend.

No that’s not really what’s happening here.

We can question whether the things we were doing to stay “rich, free and alive all at the same time” were effective or not, but probably not best to stop with soft power altogether.

That historically has not been good long-term.

Soft power is done in support of imperialism. I am not sure why there is even an argument over this. USAID is done specifically to support American interests that are often completely unrelated to the aid. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just a thing.

Are you chinese?

Of course, but i think you are being hyperbolic with ‘imperialism’.

Using humanitarian aid to help ensure stability in areas we are specifically NOT psychically present isn’t imperialism.

Neither is using aid to coax trading or other functions.

The country that provides the aid is the country that gets the best trade deals, the first access to the markets, the ally in the region.

It’s just a generic term for what is actually happening.

Which areas are private American entities not present where we give aid? Or which areas where we seek stability in order to prevent terrorists like isis from taking hold and recruiting Americans to drive trucks through New Orleans

Imperialism isn’t hyperbolic. It’s just a thing that is.
