Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might have been mistaken on we only have 12 years

What is the hoax?

That natural warming isn’t happening at all?

Or that it can’t be ascribed to man?

So in 30 years when the coastal cities are under water because of natural warming, you’ll smugly say, “Well, mankind didn’t cause it.”

And you don’t want mankind to do anything to prevent the destruction of these cities either, apparently.

Why are Obama and many other global warming prophets buying coastal real estate if the tides are going to rise and submerge them. They don’t believe their own lies.

1-7 degrees, in otherwords a 700% margin of error.

Yah, that’s real “sciency”.

I didn’t say that. I’m just saying it’s negligible.

Example. cat 5 hurricane. Am I to believe that there has NEVER been a hurricane with the intensity of this one, or stronger. I’m not talking recorded history that goes back only a few hundred years. I’m talking thousand / millions of years? Yet somehow the “intensity” of this storm is blamed on man induced global climate change.

It cannot be demonstrated scientifically that human activity has or could have any significant impact on global temps. We affect the environment every time we breathe but that doesn’t cause global warming.

Yep acid rain, smog, ect are figments of our imagination.

What do any of those have to do with global temperatures?

More people are not starving than ever before in the history of mankind.

And more food is being produced every year than at any time prior in human history with rare exceptions.

Has there ever been a time in history where there wasn’t famine an starvation somewhere on the planet?

It sucks to live on the coast in a place where the land you live on is subsiding as much as half an inch per year relative to sea level.

I like it as well.

Hundreds of ancient cities are underwater now at depths up to and exceeding 300’.

I blame it on external combustion.

What!? The Arctic Circle is made of ice? Boy are we in trouble now!!!

Do you understand the meaning of the term “inter-glacial cycles”?

Yes, we can agree that sea level is rising. 10,000 years or so ago, it was 400 feet lower than today. It is currently rising by about 3-3.5 mm per year. At that rate, in 30 years it will be about 4 inches higher. Hardly enough to inundate cities.

On the other hand, the cites that are experiencing regular flooding are built on land that is subsiding. The same goes for all those island countries in the Pacific and Indian Ocean. They all sit on volcanic peaks that are thousands of feet tall from their base on the ocean floor. When volcanoes are not building height from eruptions, they are subsidizing. In brief, just because the water is lapping at your front steps does not necessarily mean that it’s because the water is deeper. It is more likely that your land is sinking.

Those would be known as “uncomfortable truths” to the climate hoax believers.

Sigh - wheres my facepalm emoji.

Oh well moving on.

Which point would you like to challenge?

Instead of everyone getting bogged down in who is right or wrong lets just all agree we should be good stewards of the planet.

Is it really so difficult to agree that man is impacting the envirnonment so lets work together to minimize that impact.

As I get older I get more concerned about the planet I will leave behind so I am making changes to the way I live , they may only be on an individual scale but I am at least trying.

And if this sounds all a bit crunchy granola its because it is. I start to wonder if I will be wearing hemp trousers or Birkenstocks next. Its really quite concerning for me because a few years ago I did not give a crap.

The biggest things anyone can do is to pick up their own trash and stop using so many disposables.

Won’t affect the temperature a bit but it makes for a much clearer planet and cuts down on landfill.
