A song of peace and hope from Russia

Here is a bit of background about the song and the lyrics in Russian and English:

Several of the disturbing images in the beginning of the song appear to be related the downing of a Russian passenger liner in Egypt with a terrorist bomb in 2015. Another appears to be a subway bombing.

The emphasis moves towards the importance of living in peace, forgiveness, and love of others.

While the images and lyrics come from Russia, I think that many of the themes are universal.

Could a similar music video be made in the US?

Is this question for real?

Yes. In my opinion producing a similar video is not possible here.

Given the emphasis on political division and vengeance in the US entertainment industry, it is hard to see how a music video supporting forgiveness and loving others could be produced. That is sad.

Russia is awesome.

That is sad that you actually believe that. That’s true

Be patient, the theme takes a minute or two to develop.

Yes, I am familiar with the old Simon and Garfunkel song.

My experience is that the words written on subway walls and tenement halls are usually not about forgiveness and loving your neighbor. They are more frequently calls for vengeance and violence against perceived enemies.

I hope I am wrong.

Please show an example of a similar video produced in the US since 2016.

I laughed for real. OP is the best <3
