What " conservatives " might you be talking about? The writer in the op may, or may not, be a conservative. But then, conservatives are not a group think people.

Romney didn’t get it any worse than Obama at the time. That was all normal, albeit ugly, politics. Trump takes ugly to a new level and the criticisms are naturally going to be uglier also. He really is the complete disgrace that we say he is - that’s not hyperbole.

That was a question directed at the person I was responding to, as in “There were conservatives who bemoaned the perceived corruption and immoral character of Romney in the same manner this conservative in the OP does about Donald?” Because I couldn’t recall any who did.

Yes all he does is whine while setting the record and the truth straight. Fake news has never been challenged in such a way before and they should be able to handle it…By not only being honest, but also by being as nonpartisan as possible.

I agree but because it’s true. Look at almost every thread regarding Trump and he’s being attacked. This division began with the election and it’s the individual’s choice how they choose to respond to all of the divisive rhetoric from every corner of our country.
I have found more growth by challenging my own perception, than by underestimating my opinion rivals.

Maybe you didn’t hear me? The division is coming for all corners of the country…newspapers, television, radio, social media and the WH. What I find amusing is that Trump is smacking back on the attacks. The CNN/Lanny Davis episode that’s the most current is a perfect example. How many have lit their hair on fire over this and now ask yourself, were you one of them?

What is the price of smacking back that you’re willing to tolerate? Any presidency in history would have been sunk by criminal convictions in a conspiracy to defraud the American electorate by covering up campaign payments to a pornstar which were a coverup for an extramarital affair that the candidate had while his wife recovered from childbirth. How can anyone, but religious people in particular, excuse that behavior?
