Hard to follow your train of thought. Please clarify what you mean by “degrees worse” for Santos as compared to others. I for one, hope any person who outright lies or even is found to embellish their education/work experiences during their campaign should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And if nothing is codified yet through Congress on this, by all means let’s start calling our respective Congress members to take action and rectify these type of ethical concerns quickly.

Santos has real leadership potential. The people who run things in Washington are looking for people who are willing to lie with impunity to support the twists and turns in the official narrative. He could be another Sandy Cortez.
Of course, some statements may be technically correct even if they are misleading. Everyone from Europe has Jewish ancestors if you go back far enough. We are all children of Abraham.

May not have to wait until 2024, he could be referred to the House Ethics Committee with a recommendation of expulsion. Then with the concurrence of 2/3rds of the Representatives he gets fired.
But with McCarthy’s narrow majority, the likelihood that he will allow that to happen is “Slim” and “None” and Slim left town. Will he do that? Of course not.

Nah. Dems should vote to keep him. Let him burden the R’s for the next two years.
He isn’t going to be around the next two years. He will be lucky if he makes it the next two months. He has enough campaign finance violations to put him away for a while. It won’t take too awfully long for the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York to be ready to indict Santos.
Does any other current politician even come close to the number of lies this man told to get elected?

BTW, I think I will do a live “House of Representatives organization” thread on January 3rd starting at noon. It is going to be a hell of a ride.
There is a very distinct possibility that January 3rd will end with no Speaker and no House organization.

I believe a thorough investigation into each and every congress critter is in order.
