So put a male who is a convicted predator of a female in an adult female population because now he identifies as a she.?
If this person still has a penis, they belong housed with the other persons who have penis’ regardless of how the person identifies.
Can we agree that the prison you get incarcerated in is the sex you are not the gender? That way no one is surprised at where the end up. Well house you according to your DNA if you commit a crime.

It’s a tough balancing act.

Sometimes the trans person doesn’t want to be assigned to their gender assignment prison for safety reasons.

No it’s not. If they can put an 18 yr-old boy in a men’s prison where they might be brutalized, they can put a 26 yr-old man who thinks he’s a woman in a men’s prison where they might be brutalized. Or, if that upsets one’s sensitivities, put them in a prison of their “own kind.”. Regardless, it’s not hard to understand that putting any adult in a juvenile prison is flat out wrong.
