Yes. That’s what months have been spent by congress trying to find out. Are we to believe that they were fbi Human Resources who just happened to be in the Capitol or in restricted area on their own? If so, why were none prosecuted? And why was Wray so confused about all this when talking to congress?

They weren’t prosecuted because they were informants. I don’t disagree with you. Wray should have been straight forward butt hat doesn’t change the fact that there is no evidence that the fbi started instigated or set fire to it.

Nope. I just read the article in the OP. The information is right there. They weren’t agents.

If they received instructions or payment from the FBI, they were agents under the normal meaning of that word.

The instructions are going to be very vague. The way it works for me is if you are already doing something or going somewhere the fbi has an interest in knowing about they will ask you in advance about a few topics to keep an eye out about.

These are sources are mainly random people helping out their country while doing what they would be doing anyway. If you are lucky they might pay for a plane ticket.

Yes it is actually! Their job is to get another party to admit to a crime. A majority of the time they instigate. So again agents were involved.
