2019 federal pay rates finally out (3/28/19), pay raises will be retroactive to the first pay period of 2019 (1/6/2019) for most federal employees

Most pay went up, with the exception of Congressional pay which was frozen as it has been for a number of years.

United States District Judges got an increase of $2,900. Circuit Judges got a $3,100 increase. Associate Justices got a $3,600 increase. The Chief Justice got a $3,700 increase.

(Note: Senior Executive Service denotes those career employees in executive or other high level leadership positions. The Executive Schedule includes most Presidential appointees or other non-career political appointees. Level I includes cabinet secretaries and heads of major independent agencies.)

For General Schedule employees, GS-15, Step 10 now maxes out at $138, 572.
