I think I figured out how Mamdani will finance “free” childcare.

Mamdani plans to stop paying for NYC’s garbage pickup, allow NYC’s rat infestation to eat the trash, and will use the garbage pickup fund to provide “free” childcare.

Well, under current federal taxing, those who work longer hours to increase their weekly earnings, than those who work less hours in order to relax and not work, are required to contribute more to the federal government and are treated different than those who work less hours in order to relax and not work.

Those working long hours to better themselves and their families have to be taxed harder in order redistribute money to those who choose not to work or not to work much don’t you know.

That’s apparently the desire of many of the leftist ilk.
