Chris Coons said himself that Biden is a grandfather figure to his daughter. They are family friends and had spent a lot of time together outside of this incedent at one another’s houses.

I agree. Biden makes creepy statements or gestures. I wouldn’t want any dude I didn’t know grabbing my daughters arm. Just like I don’t want that same person touch their hair either.

Agreed. Like you, I’ve seen women touch the kids as well. I don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that either the old men or the old women are pedophiles. Inappropriate does not imply pedophile.

On Sunday, Carter published a Medium post defending Biden, saying images of the vice president grasping her shoulders had been taken out of context.

Did you show her the montage of Biden/little girls along with the single incident? Once could be an innocent boundary crossing; dozens of incidents is an indication of a proclivity.

No I didn’t, but as she said, Biden is displaying behavior that was more accepted decades ago but not so much anymore. She chalked it up to that age difference and said he should update his behavior in line with today’s thinking.

He’s got to be aware of people’s reaction to this behavior, yet he keeps doing it. Why?

But he does know. I have seen him say “but I guess that’s not allowed anymore” or some such thing in reference to touching children (let alone nuzzling and sniffing them.) There are no more excuses for this behavior.

That’s nice, but keep in mind, most molested children are molested by a family member.

It’s a lot more than one creepy incident with Biden sniffing children or fondling women. There is a plethora of creepy incidents to choose from enough that the daily show ripped him twice as well as many papers including WaPo and the NYT’s who brought attention to it.

Of course that criticism all but stopped after he won the South Carolina Democratic primary and the other candidates dropped out other than Sanders. After that there was little criticism from the press on Joe’s behavior

Before he became the nominee oddly conducted polls like this were common from left wing media.

Not so much after he became the nominee.
