Tommy what do you do for a living? I thought you were a lawyer, or at least worked for a law firm. You used to to be a pollster, you have claimed so many different jobs, I am confused. You ever were a claimed protester who was on the other side of law enforcement. What are you exactly and what do you do?

In saying that I eat at fast food joints, subway, and nice restaurants. I leave nice tips for good service, even in food courts. However I expect to be treated decently any place I go. The former waitress was a real idiot to write that nasty note and ruin the officers meal. I am glad she got canned. She was fired for cause and does not deserve unemployment compensation. She was a jackass.

I do not want to support jackasses, nasty people, and ■■■■■■■■■■ Let’s her parents support her. Unemployment compensation should go to deserving people not ■■■■■■■■■ with asinine opinions.

Yep. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Only if you claim it.

If a person does not like an ENTRY LEVEL JOB then a person should find a better job. ENTRY LEVEL JOBS are entry level.

There is a difference between a dish washer and a chef.

It’s not about the job, it’s about what you’re being paid. Entry level jobs like that are a dime a dozen. People working them, even those that don’t do anything stupid, they don’t care about their job.

When i was 16-18 years old I would have these crap jobs. I’d be polite. I’d always be polite. I’d do my job. But once a holiday rolled around I’d quit. Then find another one of those jobs afterwards. I did that because the job was meaningless to me. Rinse and repeat, what am I losing?

So I have to believe there are those out there that will not be so polite. When you don’t care about your job, anything is possible.

They should try caring about the people they work with and meet as customers. Your job is an opportunity to love people.

“She was fired for just cause and does not deserve unemployment compensation.”

She may be denied it.

Each state is different. Some vastly different than others. For example, in NJ you can be fired for just about anything and still collect unemployment. In Illinois, where I think this took place, you can be denied unemployment for 8 different examples of misconduct. What she did is not one of them.

Is this sarcasm? You almost come across as serious.

I remember reading once about a small medical or dental clinic in Illinois where someone like a billing rep was fired for stealing cash from her employer. Citing misconduct as a reason for dismissal, a state official determined she was ineligible to collect.

Upon appeal, that decision was reversed, stating she hadn’t been convicted of theft in court. Seems like a wacky state regarding unemployment compensation.

He’s got a point. Every job should be a learning experience—if only to determine what’s a bad fit.

Any one I’ve known that works with the general public at the lowest level have a not so positive opinion about the people they deal with. One of the most common complaints about working at a fast food restaurant is not the job, it’s the people. But my main point was that a job like that is like a dixie cup. If you don’t care if you get fired, people are capable of anything.

I read their 8 reasons of misconduct. Nothing even came close to being nasty to a customer. It was stuff like destruction of property, persistent insubordination, attendance, safety issues, but nothing close to what she did.

Illinois is home of crooked chicago. Yep.

What is with those negative vibes, man¿

She may have adulterated good. And she did ruin a dining experience

What is that all about? Paul is an upstanding member of the forum and a right on guy.

He probably is. I just thought he might have been joking.

About what? I did not see anything jokingly funny.

You been drooling about Biden’s rambling, Bro. We are going to have to wheel you away from liberal networks after :us: Trump/Pence wins another four. :us:
