Some POS systems have that option, but what it does is trigger payroll taxes.

Nor mine.

Oh yes I did.

The EO was written so that if you’re being paid less than a hundred a week in UE, you don’t get the extra three hundred. So you’re just incorrect off top.

It was so he could claim it was four hundred and then it turned out that it was three and a hundred from the state, so if you don’t get at least a hundred, you don’t get the extra three.

It doesn’t work that way.

I sort of remember that part too.

That’s not even the post you replied to. Asking for you to listen to my responses in a conversation you are a part of seems the literal least to ask from you.

You’re wrong about the tipped minimum wage.

Who says they CAN’T pay it? They most likely aren’t required to pay it if part of employee salary is tips

I don’t think that is federal.

No it wasn’t. It was written to provide $400 and the state puts in $100 per week.

Then changed to allow the state to claim $100 of what they were already paying as their share.

All your state needs to do is bump up their state UE to $101 and they get the extra $300.

Tell your state to take care of its people and stop blaming the President.

That’s my experience acoss SE, QSR, FSR, nightclub and independent restaurants.

I’ve read every post you’ve made since this conversation started.

You blame Trump for your company not paying at least $100 a week?

That’s TDS.

 Yeah, ok. What is UE based on?

Have you though? I said the opposite of what you said in the next post. Even now in this post you’re still getting amounts incorrect in your mad rush to absolve sweet Trump of any blame.

Or, he was explaining how and why most tipped employees don’t get to 40 hrs or the min reported wage, and so why Trump"s EO leaves them cold.

So it’s exactly what I said. Great. Glad we could agree.

I used to claim like 7% of total sales on my taxes as income (I don’t remember the exact amount). The Feds assume tips will be at least that much. It’s quite the system. Wait staff accept this because they make more than 7% of their sales in tips so will pay less taxes overall, they get money daily which can be really high, and the schedules work for those wanting part time hours.

Yes, you did. I just quoted it again.

No, it isn’t.
