I despise the need for federal law enforcement. It is a necessary evil. Remember what Schumer said; he was right.
The FBI needs more oversight than any other organization in government.
The GOP is against the FBI because the lies are pushed by trump and the right wing news media. I would say that the agents are more dedicated to their jobs than trump is to the presidency.

Don’t forget the intersection between people that are generally anti-government and the Trump movement. What’s ironic is that they’re pretending to care about “abuses” not enacted against every day Americans (which is where the concern originated) but against other members of the government who they likewise have expressed nothing but disdain for and have supported increased efforts to expose their “corruption” however they choose to define it. So the belief that they are being consistent with their positions doesn’t stand up to reality.
I’m beginning to believe there are some anti-government activists who support Trump mostly because he’s good at ruining things.
