Your favorite Christmas carols

I’d take any Christmas song that Celtic Woman does.

I’ll bet I could even enjoy it if they stooped so low as to do their own version of “Wonderful Christmastime”, because anything that comes from their angelic voices would be heavenly.

Also anything from Pentatonix,

But absent a specific artist or group, Christmas isn’t Christmas without “O Holy Night”. Likewise “Stille, Stille, Stille”. And hearing the latter done by a handbell choir is divine.

Silent monks do an excellent job with the Halleluhah chorus

Didn’t Snoopy fight the Red Baron during the Halloween special?

I stick with the somber stuff you’re more likely to hear on Christmas Eve. But in general favorites include:

O Come Emmanuel
O Holy Night
Good King Wenceslas
Gabriel’s Message

The worst:

Jingle Bell Rock
Santa Baby
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Anything Alvin & the Chipmunks

That’s the arrangement my bell choir uses. I can hear my C4/D4 parts in there – clear as a bell!

Did that also.

The Christmas one isn’t what happened in the Halloween special though.

Right, but the provided link suggested Snoopy did battle with the Baron during the Christmas special. He didn’t.

Meh - nitpicky.

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day

Ah. I get it.

I love this one.

Interestingly the original Ukrainian version of “Carol of the Bells”, Shchedryk, is not about Christmas. Instead it is about wishes for a prosperous new year.

Here is a version in Ukrainian:
