I’ll bet I could even enjoy it if they stooped so low as to do their own version of “Wonderful Christmastime”, because anything that comes from their angelic voices would be heavenly.

But absent a specific artist or group, Christmas isn’t Christmas without “O Holy Night”. Likewise “Stille, Stille, Stille”. And hearing the latter done by a handbell choir is divine.
Interestingly the original Ukrainian version of “Carol of the Bells”, Shchedryk, is not about Christmas. Instead it is about wishes for a prosperous new year.
