Scott Adams explains the hoax-edit technique used by professional liars in the fake news industry as it applies to the recent call between Trump and the Georgia election official.

Scott Adams on Twitter: “I teach you how the Fake News Industry manufactures hoaxes using today’s fresh example. Lizard Squad and more. https://t.co/J96NDlPV9s” / Twitter
The basic technique is to start with a short quote out of context. Add brainwashing language such as “caught on tape”, “smoking gun”, etc. Get Bernstein to say “It’s worse than Watergate”. Add mind reading to imply evil intent. Repeat until people believe the lie, and disappear the debunks.
Work on your technique and you may have promising future at CNN or the Washington Post!

The whole tape has been released.
It’s worse in its totality.

“Worse than Watergate” I’ve seen that game played many times before. Dean even came out with a book titled that…during GWB’s term.
Dean must have made a fortune from Dems on that one.
Yep. Worse than Watergate!
Thank you Mr. Bernstein.

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying.
You complain that the clips of the phone call were “out of context”. Have you heard the context?
The context makes the clips worse.

Plamegate: Worse than Watergate

It’s getting hard to keep track of all the lies we’ve been told. Here’s a quick cheat sheet:
We now know that Cheney lied to the American people about his involvement in the effort to smear Joe Wilson.
Three months after reportedly receiving a briefing about Wilson’s trip to Niger from George “Slam Dunk” Tenet, and then telling Scooter Libby that Plame may have helped arrange her husband’s trip, the Vice President went on national TV and told Tim Russert he didn’t have a clue about the situation: “I don’t know Joe Wilson… I don’t know who sent Joe Wilson… I have no idea who hired him and it never came up.”

Ok. You’ve convinced me. All sides do it and Bernstein saying it is meaningless. You win.
“Out of context” is a meaningless dodge unless the correct context is supplied. On this phone call, the context is “President threatens SoS multiple times with criminal prosecution if he doesn’t change the vote count so the President wins that state”.
There the context for anybody who needed it.
