Probably most people share your supposition about the shooters. But to be fair, they are not releasing any info about the shooters now because of their juvenile status – at least until they are formally charged.

Still, if they are white kids we more than likely would have seen pics/vids in the media by now, in spite of the official clamp down on info releases.

There was a quick vid clip of someone in custody being loaded into a police van. Skin color appeared to be brown. Notwithstanding but my skin is brown and I’m of Italian descent.

Ann Coulter was on Bill Maher last week and she said that the media didn’t release the race of the shooters proves they weren’t white.

Also Reddit conspiracy forum showed one of them as being black and asking why their race wasn’t mentioned

But they WERE thugs! Their shooting was thuggish behavior, no matter what their color.

They weren’t shooting to kill KC fans. They were just shooting at each other, without concern for bystanders.

In fact, let me suggest that at least SOME of the shooting victims were intended targets of their rivals.

As for the mayor’'s comments, it’s rather racist of him to consider “thug” as being specific to blacks or in reference to blacks. Perhaps the black community should be more diligent about eradicating thuggish behavior from their youth, if black leaders think it’s a term too applicable to blacks. But even had the shooters been white, the actions were still thuggish.

8 children were just shot at a parade. It’s absolutely out of control here. Notice also that it’s mostly due to very young people committing these acts, not adults. That means IMO it will get worse before it gets better. Fathers not being in the home, guiding their children into adulthood with the same person they created this child with IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THIS NATION!
