sure. but this thread isnt about that

start a “how idiotic leftist policies are ruining society and have been for decades” and maybe i’ll chime in with specifics.

nothing like that costs as much as we’ve been funneling to Ukraine

sickening

OK.

Specifically, how?

start a thread if you really want to know or discuss

You started this thread upset about a mass shooting from Feb. that wasn’t in the headlines.

Am I wrong to assume that you think it should be in the headlines, and should be promoting a discussion about how to prevent them in the future?

i wasnt “upset”

not everyone who starts a thread is “upset” about that topic

yes

We agree that current mental health spending is inadequate, correct?

In 2020, the federal goverment spent 280B on mental health services, and the states spent about another 50B. That’s 330B total. And we agree it’s not doing the job.

We’ve spent about 113B to Ukraine.

Then why did you say:

just a quick blurb. no big deal. except several kids were shot

no pictures of perp either.

CNN :wink::+1:t6::+1:t6:

because it was just a quick blurb without a mugshot

despite several kids being killed

it was in the headlines.

inadequate in how it is spent. yes

not in amount

problems dont go away just by throwing money at it

(neither do wars. )

Actually, none of them MADE this guy shoot anyone.

But leftism is a broth of immorality, diminished respect for human lives other than oneself, fatherless kids, loss of civil norms, and a host of other such ills that all swirl together to add to the soup of societal dysfunction we face today.

I’m sorry, but I’ confused.

When you said “no big deal” I thought you were being sarcastic.

No?

I agree. We should be spending it better.

But you see that you were incorrect in claiming we spend more on Ukraine, correct?

no you’re not

you just keep trying to twist the argument around to serve your position

No.

I thought you were upset about this mass shooting, and were expressing disappointment that it was not in the headlines, generating more conversation, and that you wanted to have those conversations to avoid such tragedies in the future.

Sorry if I had that wrong.

What was your intention them?

yes

of course. you need emotion as a foundation to hijack a thread

i just wondered why we weren’t over this “mass” shooting and why cnn refused to refer to it as such, per their own definition.

please show where i claimed this

here you go.

lol thats not what that claims

if we could use 1/100th of the amt they sent to ukraine that’d be awesome

if used correctly!

sorry
