Yes! Trump should pocket veto the Swamps’ foreigners’ first Covid-19 relief bill

As I remember it was struck down as being unconstitutional, and rightly so.

When our federal judicial system ignores our written Constitution and assents to legislative acts contrary to our supreme law of the land, it not only opens the door to anarchy, but participates in such treachery.

The veto procedure is laid out in crystal clear language in our Constitution. If the president vetoes a bill it is returned to the House that originated the bill with the president’s objections, and the bill [not parts of the bill which the president doesn’t like being changed] is then to be reconsidered and needs a two thirds vote of that House to override the President’s veto which then requires the bill to be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law.

Under “line item veto” the president would exercise extraordinary and a dangerous blackmailing power to withhold funding for whatever he so desires, unless he gets what he wants, and this was pointed out during the making of our Constitution.

'‘The negative of the governor was constantly made use of to extort money. No good law whatever could be passed without a private bargain with him. An increase of salary or some donation, was always made a condition; till at last, it became the regular practice to have orders in his favor on the treasury presented along with the bills to be signed, so that he might actually receive the former before he should sign the latter. When the Indians were scalping the Western people, and notice of it arrived, the concurrence of the governor in the means of self-defense could not be got, until it was agreed that the people were to fight for the security of his property, whilst he was to have no share of the burdens of taxation.’’ ___ SEE: Benjamin Franklin, June 4 of the Constitutional Convention

I agree with Franklin. Our problem today is, Congress spends money on objects not authorized by our Constitution and most of the time such spending is call “pork” rather than a plundering of our national treasury carried out by clever money laundering operations where donors get rich and members of Congress have their political campaign war chests filled with quid pro quo donations.

Our government, once of the people, by the people and for the people, has been transformed into a government of politicians, by politicians and for politicians . . . witness the latest influence peddling fortune being made by the Biden criminal enterprise family.

Orrrrr
Congress can override his line veto.

The money in this bill for other countries around the world that’s being laid on the back of unknowing and potentially unwilling taxpayers…is a criminal act IMO.

Representative Gabbard spells it out pretty plainly; introducing a 5,000 plus page bill and only allow those voting on it a few hours to study what’s in it? What could possibly be the nefarious motivation by the creators of this bill if what she says is true?

Forget the billions and billions the good people of Georgia will be taxed to finance the needs and wants of foreign countries. The good suckers of Georgia will get a $600 crumb to keep their freaken mouths shut. President Trump is right on this one!

I hope the good people of Georgia were listening when Pelosi essentially told them to eat cake while she filled the proposed Covid-19 bill with billions and billions of dollars of giveaways having nothing to do with Covid relief.

Listen to Nancy Pelosi in her own words screwing the good people of Georgia, essentially telling them to “eat cake”

.

and here is Nancy in her own words:

Republicans also filled the bill with billions in giveaways. It was bipartisan

Yep…bipartisan bull ■■■■ . So you agree that Trump is correct with vetoing this?

No.

“Any delay on the bill’s passage could plunge millions of Americans into financial crisis: Up to 12 million laid-off workers could lose their unemployment benefits the day after Christmas, a moratorium on evictions will expire at the end of the month and billions of dollars in aid for vaccine distribution, education and health care would be put on hold.”

They wouldn’t have “studied it” is they had 5,000 hours.

Which is why Trump needs to veto the bill and reject the Republican/Democrat swamp creatures’ “giveaways” designed to funnel money to their donors in return for campaign contributions, i.e., quid pro quo crap!

I agree but now republicans in the house are rejecting Trump and the Dems proposal.

So some get a mere $600, while billions of dollars were given away to other countries by our…trusted politicians…and it will plunge millions more Americans into a financial crisis, that haven’t even been born yet.

Ok…so we agree that they’re both irresponsible with our money plus they’re lazy.

Is that the only benefit you think Americans would get from this bill? I’m starting to see the problem. From the Fox News article that you obviously didn’t read:

“Any delay on the bill’s passage could plunge millions of Americans into financial crisis: Up to 12 million laid-off workers could lose their unemployment benefits the day after Christmas, a moratorium on evictions will expire at the end of the month and billions of dollars in aid for vaccine distribution, education and health care would be put on hold.”

“On top of that, because lawmakers tied the stimulus deal to a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill that will fund the government through the remainder of the fiscal year, parts of the federal government could start to shut down next week, causing more Americans to lose their jobs in the midst of a deadly public health crisis when 20 million individuals are already collecting unemployment aid.”

Hmmmm, I’m not sure if what you say about rejecting Trump is 100% accurate. I think it’s only true in connection with Washington’s Republican and Democrat swamp creatures!

See: House Republicans urge Trump to veto omnibus spending bill, call it example of ‘swamp politics’

12/16/2020

EXCLUSIVE : A group of House Republicans on Wednesday urged President Trump to veto an approximately $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill being negotiated in Congress, describing it as an example of “swamp politics” in Washington, D.C.

Businesses have been and are being forced to close…unnecessarily. Others, are being allowed to open. Governors across the country have mismanaged this pandemic and created a whole new economic problem. Now these political leaders are adding billions upon billions upon billions to go outside the country and it’s nothing more than extortion on those in need. ■■■■ you politicians. If you’re intentions are good, remove the bull feces from the bill or it’s vetoed? The decision is on the corrupt politicians’…and no one else’s.

Hell yes. I’m done with the “high road”. Fire with fire. Eye for an eye.

Well, I must thank you for laying out the blackmail being used by Washington’s swamp creatures in order to get their $ 1.4 TRILLION bill passed . . . the majority of the money going to swamp creature donors in return for campaign contributions ___ an obvious quid pro quo gimmick ___, and more going to foreign governments, wrapped up in clever money laundering schemes. But hey, not to fret, the good people of Georgia and other States are paid off with a $600 crumb, graciously given to them by Nancy Pelosi.
