Drunkenness predates law, so I guess we have no cause to constrain intoxicate operation of motor vehicles.

By the way, I am not a climate change alarmist. You have no idea what I present in my science class, or how I teach. What I do or what I do not do. You’re out of your territory.
Good! That makes my night to hear.

We did pay the ransom.
Trump is gone.
It would be nice to have our lives back now.

When we can go out and catch “cannabis” then you’ll have a point
No. He’s a well known liberal. Let’s call Him Bruce Springsteen?

That was not the reason for having mask mandates
Yes. They are. The medical community and the political community are one and the same. I cite the AMA and the WHO as examples.

Wouldn’t that make laws governing it’s use that much more stupid?

No problem. Listen, I believe climate change is a big problem, but I don’t think its the end of the world, and my cynical side says there’s nothing we humans will really accomplish to mitigate. I have many other issues that I am passionate about: overpopulation, energy depletion, availability of fresh water, soil depletion . . . just to name a few.
But my science class does not address these issues. It is a laboratory-based physical science class in which we conduct experiments and draw conclusions based on evidence. I am the co-author of the textbook. The course mostly traces the historical development of science, from the evidence for the Law of Conservation of Mass, to the Law of Constant Proportions, the the first Atomic Model of matter. My favorite experiments/demonstrations involve freezing air with by putting a vacuum over liquid nitrogen, liquifying methane and setting on fire, and figuring out how many molecules of water evaporate from a surface area of one square centimeter in one second.
There are no politics in my class, but if asked, I will present a “fair and balanced” response.

I am glad to hear this and think I would enjoy your class. One of my interests is science history.
But you’ll be happy to know, climate change is not a big problem
